Fibromyalgia is a form of arthritis and this has been with us since the beginning of time. It's even been suggested that it's part of the bodies process of old age and the body getting ready to age.
When I was a young med student at the University we were working on Egyptian mummies to see what type of bacterias they carried and diseases they had.
Surprising, they all had some type of arthritis and these were mummies that were as old as four thousand years so, it's all been around for awhile.

America doesn't have a corner on this market.

I have Fibromyalgia and have lived in other countries besides the USA. Everywhere I go there are people with Fibromyalgia. In Japan and Australia they treat this disease with the same amount of care as they do someone with cancer. That's how seriously they take Fibromyalgia.

Developed international locations even have AIDS, malaria, diphtheria, and so on. We even have curb baby mortality charges and reside longer. And higher wellbeing care and higher entry to that wellbeing care. In much less constructed international locations, folks die earlier than they get historical adequate to increase arthritis. And I'm certain they have got fibromyalgia and lupus there too. But it is undiagnosed. I'm certain while there's one general practitioner consistent with million, they do not have the time to do the entire trying out indispensable, and even care, if a few has fibro or no longer. Fibro and arthritis may not kill anybody. If an health problem may not kill any person, then the medical professionals in much less constructed countries have higher matters to fear approximately.

I'm an American with fibromyalgia but I've met other people from England as well as Canada that have fibromyalgia. It's in a number of countries but I can't tell you the exact number right now. But it is definitely not just a U.S. problem.
