Is it possible to compress mp3 files then put them on a memory card and then take them to a friends house to burn to a Cmp

Not Cmp it said CD but got changed for some reason.

No, MP3's are already compressed.

MP3 is wave file compressed. You can hardly compress it with simple compressing software (WinZip or WinRAR or etc.). you may use some encoding tool to re-encode it. Make its bitrate lower, the file size will be smaller.
But certainly the quality of sound will be lower, too. Why not buy a larger memory card or moveable disk

mp3 is a type of wave files that are very compressed and has tag to define it's content.
u can already compress it if there are very files with small size.
else compressing it don't reduce it's size.

mp3 files are already compressed. If they are too large try using a lower bit rate when you create mp3 files.

Google Winrar. It will let you make a file that will unzip automatically. Look for an option named self-extracting file.
