You need to talk to your doctor and get some kind of support, doctors don't usually give out another type of medication for vicodin addiction. You might need some kind of rehab.
I do not understand the addiction to vicodin so I am not sure what you need. I have been taking it for 7 years and several times I have been off the med for a month at a time to make sure and I never have a problem other than incredible pain.
I do know that any type of addiction you can't do it alone, you need support. Have you check on the web for support groups and maybe find someonethat can help guide you to the help you need. Support is the biggest thing. I do hope you find what you need to help you get off the drug
