Will someone please share with me their experience with hemorroid surgery, specifically grade III hemorroids?

I have internal grade III hemorroids that I'm going to have checked out tomorrow. Did anyone have this type of hemorroid and have it surgically removed? What was it like? Did it keep you from work or other activities for a certain amount of time? Did it hurt during and/or after, and if so, for how long?

I probably had at least grade III hemorrhoids.

Be prepared that there will be pain. There will be swelling. But your doctor should prescribe you pain killers. And Ice will help with the swelling.

You will probably be off work at least two to four weeks. Don't push yourself to do things too soon... You will regret it.
