This is a cornerstone of my belief system. We don't remember because then we couldn't make the mistakes we need to make in order to learn. The earth is the big schoolhouse. We were all with God when the earth was created. Life on earth is a choice we make as spirits. Being alive on earth teaches lessons much quicker, than relaxing in spirit. We're just in school. It's simple as that. When our body dies, we leave our container behind, it does not matter. We then go to whatever level of heaven we belong. Review our lives and remember the lessons we were taught. Feel the pain we have deliberately caused. Not to punish, but to learn. Decide how long to stay. Determine what we need to learn. Decide when we will be "born again", (using the term Christians use), claim our karma as is also part of the belief in reincarnation. And to the end of learning what we still need to know, we are born into that circumstance which will help our learning, and allow us to experience our karma in order to learn what we yet need to know.
Blessed Be

nope, I think its just used to make sure the poor people dont complain about their lot and the rich people dont feel obligated to share what they have. Besides, if reincarnation does happen, why cant we remember our past lives? Its also interesting that like 99% of people who are hypnotised in order to remember their past lives always say that they were people of great influence or connected in some way to people of great influence. I never heard anyone say that they were a housewife or dirt poor farmer in a little village in Tibet or something, hm

I believe it's a possibility. Energy never goes away, it just changes forms. Reincarnation is just as likely as anything else people have come up with. But, we can't prove or disprove any of this, so there's really no point arguing about it.

I don't.
The reason why? Everybody that I've ever spoken with about reincarnation has always claimed to either be some kind of royalty or a knight or something. Apparently the village idiot or the serf that had to clean the moat wasn't allowed to reincarnate.

It seems like a really serene concept to the problem of death and i would love it if it really existed. But the question that bothers me is how can we have such a big population now as compared to 500 years ago? There can't posibly be that many souls to reincarnate.

I don't believe in it, I KNOW it exists. I rememb er watching my family before I was born. I chose 'them' and my mother and father because of the love that existed between the two.
My family moved houses before I was born so it was impossible for me to have memories of the old neighborhood and what was going on when I wasn't even born. I was watching from the spirit side shopping for my family. I

Yeah,
I believe you do have a choice though. I think if you want to come back to earth, you will. If you want to live in another dimension....so be it. I don't believe the spirit ever dies so it has to keep on living. Where does the term 'Old soul' come from. It had to come from somewhere.

There are more "souls" on earth now than ever before. Where did they all used to live since the population was so much smaller then? And the whole process of souls re-entering bodies etc (when do they enter? how does a soul split in the case of twins?) It just doesn't seem reasonable.
It does seem "cool" tho. But Johnny Depp giving me a footrub sounds "cool" too.

I do not beleive in re-incarnation because you are born into this world with the purpose to Know, Love and Serve God in this world, and be happy with him forever in heaven.
Reincarnation would only put you in a circular path over and over again. Jesus would of told us of it if it was true.
