I got out of a abusive and controlling relationship and now i feel as if ever guy is like that. Every guy I meet is going to control me or worse. I can't get that thought out of my minds. Can any one help?

You need to start taking control of yourself first. Either you can learn by reading, or you may need therapy. Do not even try to get into another relationship until you resolve this problem. You will only get hurt again. By the way, time does heal too! Good Luck!

I went through this too. I stopped dating for 2 years, until my parents insistd that I go get some help. I did, and was able to get my confidence back.

You probably need to give yourself some time to get over the bad relationship that you've had. The good news is, you got out of it right? So, in order to move on with your life you need to let go. Life is full of great possibilities. The thing that matters is the lesson that you've learned, and that you've became a stronger person.

Im sorry about your last relationship. But no not all guys are like that. Their are some good looking guys out their who dont control their girlfriends and respect them. But I have a friend who is not so good looking. He looks mean. But he actually isnt. Hes nice once you get to know them
So get to know the person more. Go out on group dates for your saftey. Then thats when you get to know them.

Your new boy friend, on your first few dates, and once in a while there after. Look in the mirror, and say "I will start new love with a clean slate" "I am wise enough to know when to leave"

There isn't really anything we can do or say to really help you, but just remember that for every asshole guy, there are at least 3 sweet guys waiting for you to find them,

You should go talk to a therapist. I know it sounds kind of drastic, but believe me they can really help.
