Jackson guitars are made and usually used for aggressive licks and speed metal. however, I use my jackson slsmg soloist for blues. I lovve the way the slim neck and the ebony fret board feels also the string are strung through the bod and its not a bolt on. Do any guitar players out there find it strange that i play this type of music on this guitar.

Not weird at all, and if it was who cares. As long as you're playin'. Whatever feels good; go with it.

Whatever works for you, dude! The blues masters, people like Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Elmore James, etc., played through a lot of different guitars before they settled on one. I saw the late great Roosevelt "Booba" Barnes in Mississippi absolutely tear it up on a nasty old Wurlitzer guitar. Whatever gets you where you want to go is fine. Not everyone has to have a Strat, a Tele or a Les Paul. Like the man said, "If it sounds good, it IS good!"

It's not weird at all, as long as you get the tone you're looking for. I've been using an Ibanez Artist for the past 9 years or so, because I love the way the neck feels, and I'm able to get the tone I want. The Jackson's (and Ibanez) slim necks have such a great feel to them that it's silly to not try to see how they sound for something other than shredding.

The type of music you play shouldn't be controlled by the design of the guitar. I play blues-rock on whatever guitar I choose - and so should you. If its what you like, keep right on using it. Your "chops" and expressiveness are much more important than what guitar you are using.

Maybe it gives you a unique sound for the blues. Go for it. Be as individualistic as you want.
