You should keep your batteries in the fridgerator. I am certain it is safe but you can refer to a material safety data sheet for reference.

no al long as it is wrapped in a sheet of paper or sumthin similar to wrappings or sumthing .and yes if it aitn wrapped or if the food isnt wrapped or protected
