I would say do not dye your poor kitten, and yes, it is very bad for them. the dye has alot of chemicals that could make your cat ill or even kill it if it is ingested. And why on earth would you want to do that to the poor animal anyway??!! would YOU like it if someone poured Kool-Aid all over you to dye you? I wouldn't...

Yes, it is. Most dye has a chemical in it that can kill your cat if ingested. The ones on television use food coloring. A cat is not supposed to have its fur dyed. Dye your hair if you are wanting to dye something.
It can hurt your cat, kill your cat. Your cat does NOT want its fur dyed. Promise. It can also be considered abusive. Leave your kitten alone and love it like it does you....for you just like you are.

I dyed my hair with Manic Panic, and I had some blue left over. I looked at their website and it features several dogs, cats, ferret, and even a horse that were dyed with it, so I used it on the end of my puppy's tail. He chases it some, but he did even before it was dyed. Manic Panic is not hazardous towards animals and is temporary, although to be safe you should try a little practice spot on your kitten, or even wait for it to get a little older before trying to dye it.

If you can't be deferred from doing this, then I would go with the kool-aid or food color suggestions.... It wouldn't be harmful for your cat, but I really doubt that it would enjoy it at all. Just don't dunk it or anything, I would use a cotton ball to dip in the color and then gently wipe that on your kitty. I'm not saying you should do this, but if you do anyway please consider my suggestion....

I would not think this would be a good idea, as the kitten could lick herself bald trying to get it of, besides the dyes might make her sick, a lot of allergies come from dyes.

What's the matter with you? The kitten isn't a fashion accessory. It's a pet, an animal. Do not dye it.
That is so stupid and juvenile.

I dont think I would dye it. Just put some gloves on and try giving it a bath. Or maybe you could shave where ever it is stained

Do not dye your kitten
Cats lick themselves to clean themselves -
any thing that you use for die has to be processed by there liver. Their bodies do not need this extra work there is enough stuff in the environment that you can't protect them from don't add to what they have to handle

Please don't dye your kitten. Dyes have chemicals in them and when kittens groom themselves they lick off some of the toxins in the chemicals. This will make your kitten very ill and the vet bills will be very expensive. Stay stafe and keep your kitten stafe as well.
