http://www.religioustolerance.org is a great reference for many different religions.

I don't know about a Wiccan book, but a great Buddhist Book is "Essential Buddhism" by Jack Maguire. Here's a link to it on amazon's web site:

I see that you want to choose between 'Logic' and 'Magic'
Buddhism = Logic
Wicca=Magic

Choice is yours.

However I tell you - Buddhism Rocks. In buddhism you are supposed to follow logical path of discrimination i.e. truth.

But in buddhism click on Therawada buddhism and in that select Vipassana Meditation :-)

After learning the meditation , go into the very source of your personality and understand actions and reactions of your nervous system as a big Neural Network.

In this Neural network learn how to reassign weights which are already existing due to your past habit pattern of reactions.

In other words change of personality to better and then to transcend further.

Wicca is closer but I do not believe in organized religion only the word of God. Religions are the traditions of man and not of God.

DO THE WILL OF GOD

You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

I think the best thing would be for you to meet some people from each one, hang out with them, and ask questions. They could point you to some good books and answer whatever questions you might have about them. Books and the internet are good resources but nothing beats meeting practitioners in the flesh and getting a feel for what their religion is about for them.

The only way to go!
Go find out for yourself why there are so many millions of Christians in the world and the number is increasing....also why the Bible is still the best selling book in the world.
Best wishes, Mike.

You would probably like Osho. I don't know much about it, but my friend, who follows it says it helped him find freedom. There are plenty of sites on the net, for the info.

If I were you, I'd work out what I believe, then find a religion to match.

Seriously. Don't tailor what you believe to the resources you find.
