i wasnt able to sleep, so i first tried tylenol pm. it didnt work so i dumped it and got some melatonin, it still didnt work. i dont know what to do, im becoming irritable and i want to be alone all the time now because i am so pissed that i cant sleep. its been over 2 months since i was able to fall asleep within an hour. Now, its normal for me to stay up until 2 AM like today everysingle day. I know i shoujld go to the doctor, and im only 14. please i need help

Also i have been developing a strange breathing pattern, i seem to think about breathing and stop breathing or forget to breathe when i try to sleep

daaaaam. u need to go out with friends and just relax. and look foward to tommorow. also read or listen to music in the bed. dont take more pills because they barely work.

You may have sleep apnea, especially if you're overweight, but it can happen even if you're not. That's what causes the sensation that you are not breathing. Go to the doctor, you can get help for it. Also, practice good sleep hygiene, which means that you stop anything stimulating, like TV, for an hour before bedtime. Go to bed at a reasonable hour, even if you just lie there. Try some warm milk and maybe even a bath before bedtime, too. Also, get up at the same time every day, even if you don't feel like it.

do you have any problems, anything happened to you recently that would have trigger this? you might be to tense or thinking too much. whatever it is in your mind or heart you gotta release it I would suggest socializing , with your friends, make sure you tell them your problem so that when you get irritated they will understand and try to help you. try boxing or going to the gym to release stress. if not go to a spa.

try reading stuff. do you have work? try not to do a lot of things in a day that is also a cause for not being able to sleep. as you would want to finish a lot of task in a day so you can't stop thinking about things.

I would definitely see a doctor you could have Sleep Apnea.. don't wait.. go and get it checked.. it may be nothing but it may be something.. I would say don't worry if the breathing problems weren't present but because they are it makes it sound like Sleep Apnea.

Tell your parents, lay off the caffeine and go see a doctor to test you for allergies and any other physical and mental concerns you may have. You are in contact with something that is not good for you.

go see a doctor. Ambien is great! They told me to stay up for as long as I possibly could and then go to bed but wake up at 8 am every day regardless of when I went to sleep. It helped ALOT!

cut the coffee, coke and sugar - candy, juice. Eat your veges and plain butchered meat. Cut the packaged foods.
