Dogs really like cheese. I would be careful about what kind you give him, though. Some of the soft cheeses, like feta, are not pasteurized, so they might upset his stomach and make him have diarrhea. But I feed my dog pieces of american or cheddar cheese all the time.

My dog gets a little cheese now and then, but not too much.
It's how I've always given pills to my animals -- wrapped them up in a little cheese.

There are a few things you shouldn't give your dog, but cheese is not one of them. I don't recommend it as part of it's everyday diet, but it's not going to hurt your dog.

yes, we feed our dogs cheese for special treats,but not too much cause it tenteds to put weight on them.

Yeah, they can eat it and they generally like it.
Just keep in mind to feed it very sparingly, like all treats.
