I went to the Passport office today, and they said I need to put down my employment/studies the last two years. Ok, so I put three things for 2005.. one for 2007. Here is where I am stuck: I went to school last year called Canadian College, but they closed down. so technically it doesn't exist anymore. I was unemployed last year because of school, etc. So, I'm wondering..can I still put that? I'm thinking what if they tried calling them.. the number is not available anymore. I have nothing else to put for 2006. There is no number that I can call to ask this type of question. I'm hoping any one of you has experienced something similiar.

Is this going to be a problem? Should I just let them know?

My experience is that when getting a new Canadian passport (but not my first time) they took 14 weeks to process it. However in that 14 weeks, they did not contact ANYONE! Not my employer, not my references, not my guarantor -- NO One! I wanted my passport and was asking all of them if they were contacted and to let me know if they were called so I would have a sign it was being worked on.

So, you should be okay. Put it down as it asks for your history. Put the location in, but instead of phone number put something in there to indicate not available, not active, recently closed or whatever. You have put in 4 others, so if they want to check that you exist as a student they can. But like I said, they probably wont even contact your references and aren't likely to get around to contacting schools.

sure this is, yet you could constantly get a criminal call exchange. first and proper, you could desire to get the call amended on the passport, on the Indian consulate on your u . s .. i'm uncertain in the event that they are going to difficulty a clean passport with the amended final call (probable) or do it to the present passport (probable no longer likely because it may be constured as tampering with a passport by skill of immigration government each and every time u attempt to bypass international borders). The Indian consulate officers would be waiting to lead you approximately the thank you to get your final call amended. on the same time, this will additionally contain posting in the newspapers a public word which you're changing your final call legally. returned , the Indian consulate could be waiting to suggestion you in this. Definately, a notary too wil be in contact to witness a sworn affadavit. earlier you circulate to the Indian consulate, i think of it is likewise prudent to seek for suggestion from an Immigration criminal expert and seek for suggestion as to how the exchange in final call on your passport could effect your immigration status or the visa on your passport. this is greater constructive to spend some one hundred $ to seek for criminal help from a qualified immigration criminal expert first , somewhat then spend so plenty greater time and funds later attempting to get issues 'fastened'. So your first stop could be an immigration criminal expert on your section, then once you're happy that this is refrained from affecting your criminal status, next step is to attitude the Indian consulate for brand spanking new/amended passport. stable success!!!

Put down the school you went to. Even if it's closed now, it was operating when you attended. I had a blank spot after school - I was short one course & had to wait 'til the spring semester to finish. The PP office picked up on that, and I had to tell them what I was up to. So I was a housewife for eight months.

Do yourself a favour and fill out your PP online. When you go to the office, you get fast-tracked & don't have to wait in line so long.
