I go to the gym for at least 45 minutes a day. And I eat smaller portions, I don't eat a lot at all. I eat healthy foods too and watch what I eat but I don't seem to be losing many pounds even though I've been doing this for about three weeks now. What else can I do to help lose weight faster?

Increase your time at the gym. Go for at least an hour. Try going on the treadmill for 40 minutes. You have to get your heart-rate up and then sustain it for at least 30-35 minutes to burn calories.
Maybe you are not eating enough? You need to eat at LEAST 1,200 calories a day. If you eat less than that, you're starving yourself and your body knows it. It will slow your metabolism down REALLY low to hold on to your stored fat and calories to protect your vital organs. You have to eat to lose weight. Try 6 small meals a day. Eat vegetables, lean protein, whole grains (the more fiber, the closer to being whole grain) and fruit. In that order. Stay away from fast/junk foods and regular sodas. Drink plenty of water. Stick with it----it's not going to happen fast, but the weight will come off if you keep doing the right things.

To be on the safe side, I don't think there is any other way to lose weight faster. Losing weight takes TIME!!! Three weeks is not going to do it! I've been doing the same routine your doing, except I do Tae Boe for 2 hours a day for about 6 weeks now, and I'm barley starting to lose weight. I've only lost about 5 pounds right now. Losing weight the right way is not easy and not fast.

Everyone wants to loose weight yesterday. It does not happen like that.
I don't know about you, but it took me over a year to gain the weight I am trying to loose.
I have been working out off and on for years and it still takes me just as long as everyone else to loose weight safely.
Diets do not work in the long run, as most people, after having lost the weight they want to loose, start eating just as they have before the weight loss.
Be patient. You have not been working out long enough to see any real results.
Lots of people will tell you that they lost x number of pounds on such and such diet. The question to ask them is, "How long did it take you to gain it back"?

Try the Sonoma Diet. try searching for this on the Net.
Dont be discouraged you've almost reached the Peak, in a few more weeks you'll see the results. It took me 6 months before I noticed my tummy was getting leaner.
