I dream of a bathrooms like every other dream. Nothing happens in there. It's just me checking out different kinds of bathrooms. Big bathrooms, small bathrooms, Hospital bathrooms, old rusty bathrooms, public bathrooms, bathrooms with fish swimming in the toilets, Bathrooms with five tiolets too a stall. Whats the deal With this? I have an obsession with dreaming about bathrooms. Every bathroom is unique but nothing ever happens.

Most people search bathrooms when they are in the process of using them, before or after, and usually out of curiosity or boredom.

The reason they search bathrooms is because it is the one room in the house where a certain level of privacy can be expected (unless you are married, but even that shared privacy can be revoked at will.) Bathrooms allow us to be alone with ourselves, and being thus alone, we seek to amuse ourselves by exploring our surroundings.

Since dreams are very person-specific, I can only suggest some ideas as to why you might be dreaming of them.

1) Because a bathroom is, by its nature, private, dreaming of them places you in a very secure space within the dream, a place by which you can begin to explore your surroundings. It could be that, if this is the reason, that you feel insecure in your waking life, for some reason, and thus your mind is using the bathrooms in order for you to 'cocoon' yourself and develop a stronger social persona, one that can come out of the bathroom.

2) Because bathrooms are also private spaces, it could be that you are searching for some sort of intimacy or connection in your life. Browsing through a bathroom, and its contents, could mean that you wish to have a deeper, more personal knowledge of people and places than you have, but are afraid to do so in waking life. Going into bathrooms can be a way of being 'personal' but without being revealed as such, for even in public bathrooms, there are walls that reinforce one's sense of privacy.

3) This interpretation is related to 2, in that the bathrooms represent a search for connection, but in this interpretation, you are searching for a personal connection that you cannot identify. In other words, you are going into these 'private' spaces looking for something but since you never 'find' what it is you are looking for, you end up going to another location. The question that dominates this dream interpretation is thus: what is it you expect/hope/fear will happen? Your phrase 'nothing ever happens' suggests an expectation of experience (dreams of a corridor full of locked doors is another version of this) that is quietly lurking beneath your conscious self. If this interpretation feels correct, then you need to ask yourself what it is that you are looking for, and why you feel it can be found in a bathroom; what answer do you hope to find.

I am sure there are other interpretations, but these are the strongest I can come up with now. Good luck.

There are one of two reasons for this.....

One is that there is an underlying problem with you physically and you absolutely need to be checked out by a physician as to whether you have an incontinence problem.

The other, is that there is a need on your part to find something to help you be relieved of something.

There are few things we can do in a bathroom. We can eliminate something from our lives (toilet).... We can cleanse ourselves of some pressing issues (bath/shower)....... We can remove some things that are menial issues (sink)....... Then there is that mirror where we peer into our faces to examine who we are........

Judging from what you have stated here....... You are searching for something and it is in all these places. It is not a need to eliminate something but to fulfill something in you..... The dream says that the size of that place does not matter........

Let's look at something.....

Big bathrooms (large people)..... Small bathrooms (a small man)....... Hospital (one who can help or one who has a doctorate)........ Rusty (older fellow)..... Public (one in office).... bathrooms with fish (people with other people)..... bathroom with 5 toilets to a stall (one with children)........

There is someone, it seems, that you are looking for.... and you are searching for this one in all kinds of ways and means. The dream says that it does not matter what kind of man he is but as long as he can relieve something in you......

Maybe you're exploring different potential careers for your self at different places and noticing how nice (or ugly) all the lavatories are. Maybe you're exploring being a doctor (hospital), a pet store owner (fish in the toilet)...or maybe you are supposed to be like a psychologist or something, and all the different bathrooms represent the different mental states of people you help.

You can figure this out if you just ask yourself some questions. What do bathrooms represent to you? What do people do in them? I see bathrooms as one of the most private rooms in peoples' homes. Bathrooms are for showering, bathing, going to the bathroom. These are all very private activities that most of us like to do by ourselves. So, what do bathrooms mean to you? If you answer this then try to figure out what you are saying to yourself by dreaming about them so often. Are you saying something about yourself and the level of intimacy you are comfortable with? Are you exploring the privacy of other people? Do you feel like you get enough privacy in your daily life, or enough alone space or alone time? Think about this. It could be that you are completely comfortable with your personal space and are just curious about other peoples' in your dream.

To dream that you are in the bathroom, relates to your instinctual urges. You may be experiencing some burdens/feelings and need to "relieve yourself". Alternatively, it may symbolize purification and self-renewal. You need to cleanse yourself, both emotionally and psychologically.

To dream that you are in a public restroom with no stalls, signifies your frustrations about getting enough privacy. It may also indicate that you are having difficulties letting go of old emotions. If you reveal these feelings, you are afraid that others around you will judge and criticize you.

To dream that you can not find the bathroom, signifies that you are have difficulties in releasing and expressing your emotions.

it rather is which you're approximately to pass to the bathing room on your sleep and function an fairly stable way of preserving it and in no way awaken, so which you carry it for all time and purely dream of those surprising places to pass and relieve your self. Then it may would desire to do with at sometime in you existence wanting to pass to the bathing room and not having that bathing room available and so on your sleep you're in no way without one in certainty they are turning out to be to be so significant to you which you have made them problematic places with suitable furnishings in them. sharon
