It depends on "how" dark - I've tried 99% pure dark chocolate, and nearly gagged on it! It was like eating a mouthful of cocoa powder (which is what the 99% JUST happens to stand for).

its nice to have some of it every now and then ... but i unlick normal chocolate , i cant eat alot of it at one time .... gets wierd
