I just got a tongue crib 2 days ago, and it really hurts my tongue, it keeps on scraping my tongue and it is extremely hard to eat. Is there a way to keep it from not scraping my tongue? Also, how long does it take to start talking regular again? I really hope its soon...

That is what the appliance is supposed to do. It is supposed to bother your tongue, so that you will learn to stop thrusting your tongue out.
You should adjust to the crib in a week or so, enough for your speech to return to normal.
Your tongue needs to learn to not thrust out. Doing so really messes up the alignment of your teeth. The faster it learns ( you learn) the better.

eat milkshakes for a while before it heals completly, should be fine in less than a week.
