No official yes or no yet but Hendrick has let DEI know that he wants the number and they are negotiating. Also Nascar has made it known that if DEI tells Nascar that DEI has no problem letting the number go then Nascar in the past has usually always agreed to let the number change teams.

The only way that Nascar would disagree would be if a sponsor was to say that they sponsored the team based on the understanding that that number would remain with the team.

Jr. just signed a deal with Addidas and Sony so maybe one of those will be his primary sponsor if Bud doesnt come with him, and as for the number a trade would have to be made by Hendrick and DEI because the number is not for sale so I think it might as the free the eight campaign is getting bigger and bigger..

Dale is trying very hard to keep #8...Hendricks has to pay Teresa big bucks for the right to the number. Depending on how much she wants it could be a no brainer

I heard on the radio that Budweiser and the #8 are staying with DEI. I'm not sure if this is just a rumor or not.

They should give him the #0 ;) Sorry I just don't really care. I think that he will, but I also think that maybe change is good and that he should get a new number and maybe he can get a fresh start!

No Teresa will not allow him to keep the 8. She loves owning JR's company.

Is it going to snow in Chicago on January 12th? If so, how many inches? 5", 8", or 25"?

I guess we'll see!

Think about the billions of dollars that will be spent just next year alone if he changes number and sponsor.....All the members of the "nation" will be jumping through hoops to get the new gear.

Well, I hope so for all those with #8 tatoos. That is a shame they got those and they would not be any good anymore.
