Where to start...
Many of the Christians on here are "like rabid dogs frothing at the mouth" in their enthusiasm for proclaiming God. I don't see anything wrong with this...to each his own. But why ponder about somebody else doing it when it's hardly a fact that the atheists do it any more than the Christians do?
So, now that you DO believe in God, you have nothing better to do? Is that what you're saying here? I'm sorry that you have so little of a life.
Let's see...so, since atheists don't believe in God, that automatically means that they are into pornography, are blasphemous, and leading a depraved lifestyle? Once again, even if this were true, this is by no means restricted to the lifestyle of an atheist. And this is a religious forum in the aspect that the discussions here are about religion, or the lack thereof. Atheism is a part of Religion and Spirituality, and the forum is not restricted to Christians. Sorry.
Atheists are disruptive and antagonistic...well, aren't you antagonizing by asking this question? I have seen very little racism and hatred coming from atheists, on here or from my friends and family who are atheists. Once again, racism and hatred are not exclusive to atheists. Christians, and every other religion, for that matter, have their share. Nobody is perfect.
Why are atheists shaming themselves? Because they don't believe what you believe? You're shaming yourself by expecting everybody else to conform to your personal belief system. Many of the atheists I have encountered on here are very respectful and courteous, and have done quite a large amount of research. How much thought does it take for a non-atheist to simply answer a question as, "Because God said it and he's never wrong."?
Pondering on how to spend time in my life...so, you're antagonizing people for what you believe to be wasting time here...yet, here you are! What does that say about you?

And I quote-
"...It seems that so many of you are being disruptive and antagonistic."
This question hardly seems disruptive or antagonizing. It's a miracle religiosity isn't brought to more of us evil atheists when this sort of love and compassion is spread around. I won't go out of my way to force my views upon people, but when there is a question where an answer from my point of view seems appropriate, I'll post it. And yes, I have done research on my responses and I don't just spew the first "ludicrous rubbish" that comes to mind.
Try being nicer yourself. Who knows, there's a chance it may get returned.

OK everything you said about atheists is a sweeping generalisation.
Also your argument is self defeating as there are religious people who do everything you accuse atheists of doing, in fact the part of your post where you say
"The funny thing is that so much of what you say is ludicrous rubbish - you shame yourselves. Why not put some thought in what you have to say, or even do some research so that you know at least a little bit about what you want to rave on about."
would refer to religious people not to atheists.
finally look up objective in a dictionary, there is NOTHING objective about religion I think you will find the word you are looking for is horse crap, I mean subjective.

HA... "ludicrous rubbish"...how ironic.
80 something percent or maybe even higher (I dont know the exact percent but it is really freakishly, in my opinion, high) of people in America believe in a God or of some greater power that rules over them. These people are leading our country and are affecting MY life in personal ways and are hindering me with THEIR beliefs. Eventually this "free" country will be turned into a Christian nation...and it wont be "free" in the sense we think of it today....it will mean "freedom" through Christ.
The reason why I spend time on religion is b/c I DONT UNDERSTAND how SO many people who have been born with the ability to reason and to think logically...can believe in such ludicrous rubbish!

Because religion with all its contradictions, its acceptance of the impossible and frankly unbelievable is fascinating, amusing and given the impact that it has had on world history scary. Moreover, your rant and your sweeping and frankly offensive generalisations about my opinions as someone who does not share your beliefs, simply demonstrates that you stand guilty of the very sins of which you are accusing me an other non-believers .

Because religion is shoved down the Atheists throats. In your question you condemn and degrade people you have never met on the basis that they don't agree with your ideas. I have never experienced atheists trying to recruit others to follow their ideas. I have, however, experienced religions trying to coerce me into following their beliefs. The only way to get through to Bible beaters is to speak their own language. So if you promise never to harass another person to follow YOUR path in life, then I promise to never look up anything regarding your religion. And we can both live happily-ever-after.

i think athiests are just scared, or embarrased to say they believe in god, when really they do, why else would they bother asking so many questions, there lost souls looking for answers , and if us believers in god,can help the odd person with our answers then weve accomplished something, so leave athiests alone. and what i can gather youve found god recently and now how wonderful the lord really is. so dont worry why people enter this categorie, think about helping them and guiding them with your experiences, and help god do his work, i never believed once, but when i finally found god, my lifes changed so much, for the better.

As a Christian, this question outrages me.
Take your own advice. Seriously. Here is a good example of why I would spend time on it if I were an atheist.
How's your own depravity working out for you?
