..gets attention from other guys? My last two boyfriends, before the one I have now, complained all the tiem about how guys "were always all over me, flirting with me" and stuff like that. They said that they didn't like the competition, but I assured them that I liked THEM. My current boyfriend, who I addooore - well, I think he notices this too and tries to act like he is an amazing catch (not cocky, I think he's just trying to assure himself). But I like him so much and I would never cheat, etc. And I never have. I'm just worried he'll get all upset like my ex's. How can I reassure him more? It's very frusterating! As a guy, does this really bug you that much!?

I dont view that as competition and i wouldnt get immediatley defensive and all "hey, that's my girl." as long as she doesnt start flirting back excessively, i'd be ok with other guys attention to her. i'd try to view that as a compliment to her and me, that all these people are interested in her but that im the one she chose. but thats just how i would react. reassure him by showing him what you just posted.

From my perspective as a guy.. If other guys are hitting on the girl that I'm with then that just makes me happier than a clam.. Cuz I've got the girl they want but can't have.. As long as their is trust, and he understands your with him, and only him, and vise versa, he shouldn't have any issues.. Honestly if I went somewhere with a girl and we were together, and while I was off doing something else, and another guy came up and started talking to my girlfriend then I Wouldn't have a problem.. I'd probably come up and make a wisecrack to him.. "Not a bad catch, huh?" or "Nice try buddy" (and shake his hand and introduce myself... Guys who are jealous, take things 2 seriously, or get paranoid are the ones whose relationships don't last or they grow apart from the girl they were dating.. & vise versa if the girl is the same way.. Its all about mutual trust, and just living the dream!

In a way it does. See, the thing is, there won't be smoke without a fire if you know what I mean, and guys know this. Your ex's probably acted that way because they felt that you gave other guys just cause to flirt with you. The solution? Try toning down on how you interact with other guys so they don't get the wrong messages and flirt with you.

Most of the time, height doesn't really matter. However, there are some guys who don't like their girlfriends to be taller than them. It's a bit of a macho kind of thing.

I'm not a guy, but put yourself in that situation.. would you be mad if your boyfriend got attention from all the pretty girls? My boyfriend is the exact same... i get alot of attention but i let it be very well known that i dont want anyone but him. Its all about how you handle the situation... dont flirt back, dont give the other guys attention and everything should be ok.

Well, there's a little trick I know. When your guy sees that there are certain guys looking at you or flirting with you, reassure him subtly by saying things like, "Well, I'm always sure that you're the hottest catch." or secretely stroking his ego.
If he thinks that he's the best, because you're saying it, then he'll want to believe it to. :D
Or, after things like that, snog him. Really good.

Allot of the time, its the ladies reaction to guys flirting with them that makes the guy angry. Are you receptive and flirt back with these fellas? If so, theres the problem, ignore them and no more problem.

PS. And chrish kinda nailed it, its male insecurity more a less.

jealousy is a green-eyed monster that never gets smaller, it just grows bigger. so , if it is happening now, it will get worse because it is a problem only he can solve within himself. you can never assure a person enough because it is their self esteem issue they are having problems with, not yours. there is nothing that you can say or do to help.

IF I WAS YOU I WOULD LET HIM KNOW THAT ALL YOU WANT IS HIM AND EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER GUYS LOOK THAT SHOULD NOT BOTHER HIM BECAUSE THAT JUST MEANS HE CHOSE A VERY SEXY WOMEN AND HE SHOULD BE PROUD TO HAVE A WOMEN LIKE YOU ,WHO IS ONLY INTERESTED IN HIM,TELL HIM LET THEM LOOK BECAUSE WHO'S ARM IS AROUND YOURS HIS AND NO NOBODY CAN HAVE WHAT HE ALL READY HAS.
