im starting dating this guy for a week now. why do i feel like i have to call him all the time. When he tells me i will call u i know u will but i call him anyways and i dont want to push him away. I called him at 8:50 tonight july 4th and he was going to call me later and i dontknow what later means.
should isee him he calls me by midnight then call him or what. i dont want to be pushy and i dont think iam.
should i wait to til tomorrow to call him or see if he calls me tonight and call him tonight

don't try so hard. I've been through it, just let him take initiative and call you for a change. If you seem too needy it will most likely push him away. Try to Trust that he Will call when he says. If you're not sure when later is, ask how late and even better yet, set a boundary time. Tell him to call you by 12am (for example) or you may be busy. Let him sweat a little. If he doesn't call you in a day or so, let it go even if it may be difficult. I had a man call me 3 times a day sometimes, a bit much wouldn't you say?

Alright just calm down. He WILL call you. And even thought most would say other wise, most guys do like to talk on the phone with their girl. If your that desperate to know when he is going to call you, set up a time of when he would call youl like between 9 and 11 at night. If your constantly calling you will push him away. And it's probably just a phase so don't let it get the best of you. And if he doesn't call you don't get bent out of shape, he's probably a busy guy. If there's a long period in which you don't hear from him then you can call him. It's not wrong to call him, but you shouldn't call him all the time especially if he has already told you that he would call you later.

Don't be pushy,wait for him to call you! For some reason most
guys have this two day rule.They call you every two days! My boyfriend lives by this rule,I just wanna punch him in the face
but I cant(sadly)Anyway just be patient its for the better!

You need to give this guy some space!! You've been alone for all this time and i know the first part of a relationship is chop full of all this lovey dovey stuff but you need to calm down and take it in doses.
Take it easy and just enjoy the time you guys have together.

Take him at his "word", Hayley. If he said he was going to call you "later"- then you should wait until he DOES (WHENEVER "later" is). If you can't trust him to keep his "word"- the you can't trust him at all. If YOU do all the calling back- he'll think you're chasing HIM- & you could drive him off. See if he calls- & then see what happen... :)

Calm down, and let him call you back. I'd kinda think I'm being smothered if I'm called to many times. It's only been a week, relax, if he's the guy for you, he'll call.

You sound like your about 11 years old. If your older then sorry. If he says he will call you then wait for the call. Be patient. If he doesn't call you later, then the next day u should call him and be like "yo, man, whats up witchu not callin me like you said you would, I aint impressed beeeahhhch!" then hang up.

Don't call him tonight. Wait until tomorrow. And don't constantly call either...can be a bit needy. Do your own thing and don't wait for him all the time...

You can't keep calling him...make him work at seeing you. When you call him all the time, you seem desperate. Play hard to get, and he may be more interested
