To be honest - you don't. You will have to do a bus-subway combination.

Take a Main St bound Q58 bus to Grand Avenue & Queens Blvd. You have 2 subway options at the the Grand Avenue-Newtown station:

Take a Manhattan Bound R train to 59th Street/Lexington Avenue. Go upstairs for an uptown #6 train. Take that to 77th St/Lexington Avenue. You'll have to walk down 4 blocks and over 2 avenues to get to 73rd St & 2nd Avenue.

OR (this doesn't work on weekends or late at night):

Take a Manhattan Bound V train to Lexington Avenue. Go upstairs for an uptown #6 train. Take that to 77th St/Lexington Avenue. You'll have to walk down 4 blocks and over 2 avenues to get to 73rd St & 2nd Avenue.

Have a good ride.
