ok i read the book the secret, so u mean to tell me if i think positively i can get 100,000 dollars without woring for it or if i think positively ican eliminate colds , dose that mean if i think positively the irs will stop hounding me hell no who here says positive thining is only good with positive action one must take steps to get what they want not beliveing in some secret called the law of attraction that says you can do anything with ur mind, if people can do anything with there minds why are some africans still poor and dieing, tell me that do u agree that the secret is filled with bs

yea it sounds bs....now as far as africa goes, if they are poor and dieing i dont understand why they continue to reproduce, thereby making children suffer

Positive thinking is good, I cannot argue with that! I also think the movie used the wrong ways to think positive....money was the big issue here. The secret is just getting people to maybe stop saying things like "I'll never be able to______" or I'll never have_____" Negative thinking can hold you back. I do not believe if you sit and hope that your car will magically be paid off from thinking positive....it will happen. Nooooo! The sad thing is amny people will take it too seriously. I'm glad you don't!

if this is how u feel u totally missed the message. focusing on what you desire will bring you closer to it by way of people and opportunities that will help u to produce that which you desire. So you do have to work. you have to take advantage of the opportunites when they come up. The law of attraction can be used not only to get the material things that you want, but it can bring you answers to your deepest questions as well...if you ask them. But if you are not on the look out for the answers (sometimes its as simple as a thought that comes to your mind at the exact moment that the wind blows), you might just miss it...read/watch it again...and this time pay attention

Lol.. You seem very upset!!!.....I've heard about the law of attraction, however I have not read the book, would you recommend it? I believe that if you think about what you really want out of life everyday you set up a GOAL... Goals are necessary to help us obtain whatever it is that we want... So, by thinking you make a goal, you FOCUS on that GOAL everyday and you WORK really hard towards achieving that goal then it might come true.... I don't think that by just sitting everyday thinking about what you want you are going to attract it towards you, that is nonsense....All you are attracting is ignorance =)
