The forbidden fruit. Just the forbidden fruit.
Eve ate the forbidden fruit and; as they said long before the roaring 20s, with regard to sex; she went out and raised a little Cane.

Trees are symbolic of men. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was a human-like creature being the habitation of the old serpent himself. The serpent as beguiler or seducer is also a phallic symbol.

To keep Eve from being destroyed, Adam, when he found out, also impregnated her. For him a sentence of death also. She bore, as twins in the womb, Cane, son of the wicked one, and Abel, the son of Adam. Half brothers; but having the nature of their true fathers.

There are many types of trees; apple, peach, pear, lemon, orange, coconut, pecan, walnut, date, fig, acorn, etc. All are said to bear fruit.

The Bible does not say what the forbidden fruit was. Most people believe that it was an apple but no one knows for sure.

The fruit itself is not the issue. The result of Adam's disobedience is. Try to stay focused on the specifics, rather than the incidentals.

I don't think the bible ever says what type of fruit. It just uses the generic word "fruit"... artists have painted it as an apple, but it wasn't.

Just fruit.

Nobody knows what the specific type of fruit it was. The bible doesn't say it was an apple.

Fruit from the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.

"Of all the tree in the garden thou mayest freely eat but of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil thou mayest not eat for in the day thou eateth there of thou shalt surely die."

How can they say that? The Bible says nothing about what type of fruit it is.
