What are ways to straighten teeth besides getting braces?

Try Invisalign (invisalign.com), the "invisible" alternative to braces. It's a series of clear retainers that fit over your teeth, and every few weeks, you get new ones, gradually straightening your teeth. Invisalign is more expensive than regular braces, often costing between $3000 and $6000 depending on the level of treatment you need, but insurance can help. FYI, it is hard to find insurance that will cover orthodontic treatment (including Invisalign) for anyone over 19, so keep that in mind if it applies to you. Best wishes!

In addition to braces or Invisalign, your teeth could most likely be cut down and have crowns or veneers placed over them.
Braces and Invisalign take much more time to accomplish the goal of straightening the teeth, but they do not grind the teeth down.
