Toothpaste doesnt work
Ice cubes doesn't work
Moisturizer doesn't work...
A hickey is a bruise, a bruise is a blood clot under the skin....until the clot breaks up and dissipates back into the body there is nothing you can do. There is no proven way to accelerate this process as it is done at your body's own pace of healing.
If it really bothers you, ask her to stop, or have her do it somewhere other than on your neck...shoulder's are great. I've had my fair share of hickeys from biting (yeah, I like to bite and be bitten) and have learned over the years you just have to deal with them until they go away, or get smart enough to make sure they arent on tthe neck and somewhere easily concealed.

I've done this before and it worked.
Get a wash cloth and wet it with water and while it's wet put it in the microwave for a couple seconds. When the rag is very warm (not too hot or you'll burn yourself) put it where your hickey is. It will go away after you do that for a little bit.

Put a spoon in the freezer for about 20 min and put it on it for 5 min...then get a penny and roll it over and over so the blood vessels break more for about 5 min. It might hurt a little, but that's why the spoons there, to numb it. It works really good, also have her put on foundation. Have fun!

well there is hope to lighten it.
first alternate 10 minutes of ice and 10 minutes of rubbing with a wet wash cloth thats been in the microwave for a little while.
tooth paste. lemon juice. vinegar. frozen spoon. muscle rub. neosporian. brush it with a tooth brush. pinch it. be creative. wear a scarf or big chocker necklace.

Mederma works wonders on red scars, I don't know how it works but that might be worth a shot.
"Back in my day" the only remedy was time - with turtlenecks and long hair.

you can't remove a hickey, it's a bruise, it has to heal. my suggestion let your girlfriedn find a better hickey location other than your neck, somewhere not as visible. b/c your only other option is to cover them up.
