Just because he was supposed to be of virgin birth and the Bible makes no specific reference to a wife or that he "knew" a woman, why do you think he is a virgin.

I don't know why.

Where was he from the age of 12 to the age of 30? Why is that mysteriously omitted from the bible?

Jewish tradition at the time was men married young in arranged marriages. All rabbi's were married.

Even more important is why does it matter if he was married? How does that affect his teachings? If what the bible says is really his teachings in the first place.

The Bible doesn't say that he married and it doesn't say that he didn't marry.
Assuming that he stayed true to the assignment that God sent him to accomplish, it would be reasonable to conclude that Jesus lived and died as a virgin.

Because he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice (which was validated by Jehovah), we can safely assume that he didn't commit any sin. This rules out the possibility that he had premarital sex.

It is true that we have no solid evidence that Jesus did NOT get married, but what does that really mean? Considering everything Jesus said and did on earth, would it be consistent with his character to have gotten married?

Jesus denied food when he was hungry and quoted a scripture to show that it was more important for him to do God's will than to fulfill his physical desires and needs.

After making a long explanation about something (I've 4gotten @ the moment), Jesus disciples concluded that it would actually be advisable not to marry, and he confirmed that those who could make room for the single life should do so if they could more fully accomplish their ministry that way.

Jesus lived a very simple life free of distractions. He traveled everywhere, not spending too long in one location. He also showed that the Kingdom of God was his top priority. Deos it seem logical that he would have married an imperfect woman and had a half-perfect child that ould have been obligated to travel with him and occupy his priorities??? How successfully could he have fulfilled his assignment if he was married?

If we can prove that Jesus never married, then we should be able to correctly assume that he was a virgin, since sex outside of marriage is a sin, and he lived a sinless life.
Although it was common for rabbis in the first century to be married, I think Jesus was the exception, remaining single. His ministry lasted only three and a half years and he didn't really have time for a wife. If he had been married, don't you think that fact would have been mentioned in the Bible? Another reason I don't think he married is this: The Bible states that he was God in the flesh. If he married a mere human and had children, what would their kids be, half God?

Who ever said he wasn't married? It never says that anywhere in the bible. It is just assumed because they don't ever mention his wife. God commanded Adam and Eve to be married and have intercourse so why would it be a sin for Jesus exclusively?? God loves his children and promotes families why would certain individuals be advised to break this commandment? I think the possibility's of Jesus being married are very high as it is a commandment and he was called by the title of Rabbi. Perhaps Jesus was married and had children. Perhaps his mortal ministry took up so much time it prevented this. No one knows and I'm sure he wanted it that way, can you imagine how she would have been persecuted? No where in the bible does it say sex is bad. It says adultery is bad but promotes sex within marriage.

Because the Bible teaches that sex outside of marriage is wrong.

Jesus was sinless.

The Bible never says Jesus was married. So He couldn't have had sex.

Jesus is an advanced being and he had no need for physical procreation. He was going through the process of immortalization before he was crucified. The most important aspect of the story of Christ is his resurrection, not his death.

Simple. The Bible says so plainly. He was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sin. Notice "in ALL points" and "yet WITHOUT SIN". The sinless Lamb of God was just that. Sinless. That's why His blood sacrifice was acceptable to God for the redemption of mankind. He was not a hypocrite for sure. Be careful not to mock God or His Son Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world who while we were yet sinners, died for us who were worthy of death and yet He was innocent but took our sins upon Himself. Oh what a Savior!

Jesus' purpose in life was to not have sex. His destiny was to help others and lead them to the right path of Christianity. He had no mind set on having a wife. Therefore, to be a true holy person, u don't have sex outside of marriage.

First, if you want to be taken seriously don't LUMP "everyone" into your supposition. Most people who are Christian and Catholic do not even think of this one way or the other. We do believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, walked on earth for a short time, was crucified, died, was buried and his spirit rose and went to live with his Father. Why would anyone even want to consider your idea. It is just foolish insubstantial ramblings of a mind that obviously has too much time on its hands.

Because, as you said, the Bible never says he "knew" a woman.
