We already have surround sound built in out living room, but how do I make it work with the Sony Grand Wega I just bought?

There's a couple sockets(?) on the wall - red and black - that have "subwoofer" and "low level" on them as well as tabs(?) that say "front", "center", etc.

Help!

These sockets are designed to carry a powered signal from a surround sound amplifier to your built-in speakers. Your TV will not power these speakers. Buy a surround sound amplifier (you can spend as much or as little as you like, but under $400 will likely disappoint), and connect the digital optical output on the TV to the optical input on the receiver (the digital connection is superior to the stereo red-and-white; this allows transmission of surround sound bitstreams). The receiver will process the sound from your TV. Run bare-ended speaker wire from the red-and-black outputs on your receiver and plug them into the red-and-black jacks on your wall. The channels should be labled on the receiver, match them with the labels on the wall. Your subwoofer input will require a single RCA cable running from the "Subwoofer/LFE preout" on your receiver to the subwoofer input on your wall jack.
