Muslims and gays. In other words, al-Qaeda, and al-Gayda.

Why do you want to blame a particular religion? The problem is that people take offense at differences in opinion and values, and some will simply ignore, while others will report.
It's a person that reports the "offending" party, not the religion.

I've never reported anyone and I'm a fundie.
I get the thumbs down stalker once in a while and a silly violation here and there. So random, so mysterious.
Is it an inside job? maybe ....

My dad thinks that some High School kids deleted his account here at Yahoo. A pen pal of one of my aunt's had a young looking Avatar, and he was asked by a High School kid to join in their wolf pack to report and delete accounts. (It takes more than 1 participant to give you a violation, so they gather in wolf packs and target people.)
edit: In the past, my dad got a vioation anytime he answered a question posted by an Islamic/muslim. - He still doesn't know why he was deleted for answering a muslim question.

I would have to say that the people who have had this happen to them more than likely brought it on themselves, since I honestly don't see Yahoo coddling one group over another. When it comes right down to it, all the Yamster asks is that we respect one another.

I would say in Atheist vs. Christian war played out on YA the causalities are pretty even.

Son of Uncle's answer sounds reasonable. I don't think any one religion (or lack thereof) is to blame. Seems like something trolls would like doing too.

I have no first hand knowledge of either of these actions, but are they supposed to be used for reporting abuse?

Christians, they seem to love the report button. I have been here for a while and haven't reported or blocked anyone.

Christians, hands-down. Some of them create accounts just to preach at you, get banned, and are back an hour later. You don't catch atheists doing that. Some Muslims though.
