What if the church revealed tomorrow that the story of Jesus and the Christian/Catholic church was all a big fabrication. What if the Pope found records of the lie and unveiled it on National TV...would you still believe? How would you feel?

so what if it was revealed that the story of jesus was based on Ancient Egtyptian myhthology. The story of the immaculate conception based on the story of Aset (Isis) and how she gave birth to Heru (Horus). And the story of the ressurection was based on the story of Asar (Osirus) being brought back to life by Aset. And if the cross symbol was revealed to be taken from the Kemetic Ankh, the symbol for life. And the theroy of angels wings was really taken from the Egyption deity Maat, the goddess of justice who happen to have wings. And if the theory of hell was really based on the Kemetic theory of the underworld passage after death. And the ten commandments really came form the 42 declarations of Maat. And what if it was proven that Moses was really the king Akenaton, who wanted the people to worship the sun god Amen-Ra, and was chased out of kemet into the mountains with his followers. And if saying the word Amen was revealed to be calling on the name of the Kemetic Sun God...?

Im not talking about God or the Bible people I am talking about the story of jesus...the basis of the christian religion. And Catholocism and Christian are synonymous to non-christans. the Catholic Church was the original church, all the other denominations are just a difference in opinion

That would not be a very good thing. Caos would ensue. That is assuming people believe them. A lot of people would not believe the truth even if it was put in from of them. So they would just do bussiness as usual ignoring what they where told. Others however would loose it. People spent a lot of time in their religion. A whole lifetime. To come up and say it was fake will not be taken lightly. A lot of them will get violent.
So, how would I feel? Well I would be worried and concerned. I mean just look at the religious extremist in the middle east. All religions have proven to behave this way blowing themselves up for their believes. Now imagine that all countries in the world where behaving the same way.

The Christian/Catholic Church ...
*looks around to see who's paying close attention*
... kinda is a fabrication.
*ducks from expected retaliation*
Wait, lemme explain.
Much of what is taught in mainstream 'Christianity' is so terribly full of Babylonian teachings (that found their way into Church doctrine via Plato's teachings) that you might as well consider it a fabrication. Because of the teachings such as the immortal soul, Trinity, hellfire, predestination, etc., many people are misled to believe that the Bible contradicts itself and are therefore turned away from organized religion.
If there was a broadcast on National TV 2morrow that said everything was a hoax, I'd still believe in the Bible merely because the of the prophecies that have been fulfilled so far.

God's Word is alive in me. It would take A LOT to make me quit believing it. I would sooner believe I was adopted if I were told it by my Mother on her deathbed. No matter what the Catholic church "might" have done to fool people (which could not have gone on as long as it has, believe me), I know from simple observation that there is a God. If there is, then He must have a standard, and that standard is revealed in nature itself. I can measure my place in His standard by nature, and I find myself lacking, as anyone who's really honest would. Knowing that, I must conclude either that there is no hope for me, in which case nothing really matters one way or the other, or that He can provide a way for me to measure up to His standard, in which case EVERYTHING matters. Accepting this truism, I then only need to find the thing most likely to accomplish this objective, and all I can rely on to guarantee that is the Blood of Jesus Christ. If it's all a lie, then it really does not matter what I believe. If it's not, it's all the difference in the world.

I would like to think it wouldn't matter. To believe is to behave AS IF something was true. It's the behavior that's important, the principles, the charitable actions towards your fellow people, teh responsibility, etc. that are important. Whether it's actually true, those things will be their own reward.

2. if its a lie then the churches are in it for money, they wouldnt give up the cash cow

So the question is, would I rather believe the Pope or the Bible? That's a no-brainer: the Bible, which contains the story of Jesus.

Unfortunately I don't consider anything the Pope says to be of any importance. I am going to believe in Jesus Christ as Savior no matter what.
