I'm trying to gain some weight right now, I'm at about 8% body fat. What is a good body fat % where I won't look too skinny but I don't want man boobs or a gut

Around 260 pounds they start to show, sometimes given your height between 5 and 7 pounds before that

Hmmm . . . that's a really interesting question. I'm looking at a table of typical body compositions for various sports. Male bodybuilders have body fat ranging from 8% to 14%, so I'm pretty sure you can get up to 14% without seeing any major gut erupting. In no sport does male body fat go over 20% though, so that's definitely where you should consider stopping. Good night!

it all depends how your system works really. some people get more on the man-**** then on the stomach and vis versa. some people get more on the love handles and stuff. XD if your serious about this, ask a professional first not me/us. or just look it up on the internet. there are some sources out there that could help you out really well. if your the type thatll gain boobs... theyll tell you exactly what to eat in order for that not too happen (i think) but im certain about the sources. good luck

You're probably not going to get man boobs until you're in the 30% range.
