I dont know a lot about shotguns. I have a Benelli Nova pump. Can I use a steel shot in this gun? It says on the box of shells to make sure the gun is designed for steel shot. How do I know if it is or not, also what is a better name to use. I bought Winchester Xpert HI-VELOCITY 3" steel shot. All help welcome.Thanks.

To answer your question: YES.. You CAN use steel shot in your Nova..Any 3" Hi-Velocity or Magnum Winchester, Remington (name brand) will function just fine. Don't know if you know this but you can purchase a recoil reducing butt plate/pad for your gun that will reduce recoil using magnum loads...Check out the Benelli website.....Good Luck!
