I don't know what it's called--food?

In Japan I remember having these purple and white pinwheel slices...I don't know what they're called!

Can you please help?

?? Pink and white, maybe? Slightly sweet and made of fish paste? Those are naruto, and are used to decorate soups.

Purple and white sound more like some sort of specialty dessert.

More info please. What did you eat it with? What did it taste like? Did you put soy sauce or anything else on top?
