Are you sure the tooth is a baby tooth? Usually baby teeth don't last over the age of seven. Below is a part of an article from a web page on Baby Teeth and their care.

"Do not worry if your child is six and still has no loose teeth. However, if your child is seven and still has all of his or her baby teeth, it is a good idea to schedule a visit to the dentist. This is usually not a problem, but the dentist needs to check your child's teeth to rule out any problems. "

Assuming you are 11 -13 years old or so, it is a baby tooth. It will fall out on its own in time. Just give it a chance. The adult tooth is under it and pushing it out. If you want to expedite the process, you can use some Orajel or Ambesol to help numb the area and then try to wiggle it out.

Avoid the toffee, though. That's not good for dental health;)

Baby teeth come out, some times they take longer and hurt until they come out. Tell your mother/father so they know it hurts. You can go to the store/pharmacy and get Oragel Maxiumum that will help with the pain. Just put a little on your finger and touch it all around the sore tooth.

But talk to your parent. What you are experiencing is NORMAL

Your loseing your baby tooth, this is completley normal, it will fall out on it's on. But if you want it out right away, try eating a apple, or a piece of toffey. Good luck and don't worry.

Wow, you need to get to the dentist. I'm guessing you don't have dental coverage or something??

You should let that go!! Maybe the site below could help you.

If you can go into a dentist they will prescribe pain meds or even help you get it out.

Try Oragel. If it is still painful see if your dentist will give you an emergency appointment.
