Is it better to leave a band aid on at night or off for cuts?

It doesn't matter. My mother always told me to take them off at night to "let the air get to it." But that's not true. Band aids are made of breathable material.
It is actually shown that cuts heals faster if you use either an antibiotic ointment or first aid cream and put a band aid on it.

Band aid at night?

I've never known a factual answer, but I've always left a band aid off at night; because skin needs air to form a scab and when you're asleep I always figured there's less germs you're in contact with, so less chance of infection.

Leave your band aid on all night and all day. Change at least once a day and medicate with polysporin.

leave it on during the day, but unless its bleeding heavily, take it off at nite. just put some antiseptic on it b4 bed. it does need to breathe, so less coverage the better
