Depends on your parents. I learned a lot of book facts about driving from drivers ed, but I learned a lot more common sense stuff from my dad. Some parents are good at teaching this, some are not. Your best bet is to learn as much as you can from both your parents and drivers ed..

I did Driver Ed In A Box and loved it! My parents used it to teach me and I learned so much more than my friends who went to driving school. Also, it is approved by my state and I got an insurance discount! check it out and good luck!

Definitely Driver's Ed. There's less emotional strain, no yelling, no hitting and no swearing ("You stupid dummy! Are you freakin' blind?", followed by a "Whap!" to the back of the head!). Even though it'll cost a few dollars more than having your parents teach you to drive, it will be a more relaxing atmosphere. Of course, once you've got the basics down pat, then you can take your parents for a ride. Good luck!

Please use drivers ed ,if your parents went to do the test again they would fail ,we pick up lazy habits as we become mature drivers and we would just pass them on to you ,so drivers ed is the safest way .

If you have cool parents yea.......but regardless I think it's better to let your parents/guardian, family members or any of your close friends teach you. Believe me, you'll feel more comfortable behind the wheels rather than a stranger teaching you.
