I have known Christians who go through life with hyper attention to defects. Some raised in oppressive environments go through life afraid, heads down, fleeing anything that might be perceived as pleasure, and terrified that they are somehow offending one of God's laws. This kind of guilt which condemns shouldn't be a part of ones life! Nor is it a part of a love relationship which one should have with their creator!

On the other hand ... There is this movie in the '70's which proclaimed, "Love means never having to say you're sorry." I have come to believe the opposite, that love means precisely having to say you're sorry. A sense of guilt, vastly under appreciated, deserves our gratitude, for only such a powerful force can nudge us toward repentance and reconciliation with those we have harmed.

Guilt should lead us to Christ. Without guilt over our sin nature- we would never realize that we need Jesus. Once Jesus saves us from sin- He removes the guilt- however when we sin, He allows guilt to return not so that we will live lives of hopelessness, but turn that guilt over to Jesus for forgiveness.

Guilt is only good when it helps lead you to repentance. All other guilt is of no good use.

I have, it explains that when Adam received the death sentence he would die and be no more for as stated, from dust you were taken and to dust you will return. Adam being the first human ever created was created with a physical body and was created with the ability to live forever, Science has shown that every cell in the human body reproduces itself every seven years, before Adam sinned every cell in his body was perfect so it would reproduce itself in kind. There would be no immortal soul needed for such a body and as you said our soul is in our life giving blood. Satan is the one that started the lie when he told Eve she would not die thus starting immortal life rather than their dying as God said. Satan is still leading that lie to destroy all he can as he did with Adam and Eve.(2 Co 4:4) To Jehovah blood is sacred, Jesus giving his perfect blood shows just how scared blood is because Jesus' blood has bought man back to God with the opportunity to have what Adam and Eve lost which is everlasting life right here on earth where we will live forever(John 17:3;Psalms 37:11,29;Rev 21:3-4) . Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.(ASV) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.(NWT) Immortal soul is not what the Bible teaches, immortal soul and hell fire comes from paganism and as we see at Rev 12:9 ( And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him(ASV) So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.(NWT)) that by not showing the sacredness of blood(blood transfusions, blood sausage, wars, murder etc.) is just one more way Satan is misleading the inhabited earth.

Guilt should creep into your dreams and make you shudder at the thought of it. Guilt should make you sob in church and bite your own fingers when you get home.
It should make you get right with fairies, but of course church people have their own story to tell. But let me ask you this, what goes best with french beans?

Guilt is our conscience talking to us. Some people have no conscience so they will never know guilt.
