Yes it sure does work. I would give yourself "permission" to have something that you like once a week tho, if you feel that you can do this and get back with it the next day. Being in the fitness business I have to limit these things like you but I do have something every now and then.

Yes, it works. I do this and I eat less food, period, when I eat less sugar and starches and less of the bad carbs like white/wheat breads, etc. Actually, I am to the point now where I eat no bread, but I have some whole-grain crackers at times.

Now, my problem arises when someone else has bad food around that I miss, and offers me some or just gives me food and says here, and I lose control. This is something I must learn to say no to. If not for that, I would not have a problem at all and would be skinny as a rail.

Good idea..anything with white flour or enriched flours are bad carbs. Breads, pastas, rolls etc... Wheat pasta is great and grain bread as long as its not made with enriched flour. Enriched means that all the good stuff is taken out and not replaced...I mean why do that?
Try low fat, low carb wraps or Wasa crackers.
Good luck!!

It doesn't work, theirs just too many tempting bad carbs out there..you'll always end up eating some kind of bad carb eventually

Try eliminating all empty calories, including sodas [ even diet ], chips, and other treats.
I bet you lose several pounds even if you don't exercise, but exercise will help.
