okay so we both told each other we liked each other and yea. but he has a friend that likes him too and he told her about us. she said she wasn't mad and also not surprised. but i can just tell that she's mad at me becuz like 3 weeks earlier i told her i didn't like him but now i do. what do i do now [about her and about him]? also is it normal to feel freaked out about the whole commitment thing?

First of all, what "commitment thing"? You've told each other that you like each other, so? He obviously felt comfortable telling the other "friend" that you liked him, so ask yourself "why?" He may like her, or maybe he wants to see if she's jealous (to find out if she likes him). If she's mad at you for liking him... is that justifiable? So what if she asked you if you like him...were you under oath? Good grief, you don't need to tell her the truth unless she was a friend, and if that is the case, she should understand the reason you "lied" about liking him when you didn't know if he liked you yet or not.
Bottom line: worry less about her and more about him. You sound young, so don't worry so much about the "commitment" thing, you may last a week, a month, or the rest of your lives, but you have plenty of time to find out.

I'd be angry too if someone I liked was suddenly snatched away from someone who said they didn't like them. Not a very good situation to be in from either side.
If you were close friends with her, your friendship may be doomed. If not, then don't worry about it until your relationship goes badly with him, she may be a rebound?
Yeah, it's normal to feel freaked out about commitment depending on the person.
As for where to go... keep being friends and take it slow?

Number one, you don't have a commitment until you move in together. Number two, why do you like him now? Is it because the other girl likes him too? These are things you need to ask yourself.

im kinda in the same situation but my friend told me that i should talk to the girl that likes him and maybe become friends (if ur not already) andif ur already friends, maybe u should just tell the guy that u dont wanna break ur friendship with ur friend over something that might not last that long at all..
