I think you should do as your heart dictates, as your eyes see, as you comprehend from living and as your mind digests from reading.

Sprituality is a full body experience. Kind of like sexual intamacy. And you are just as aprehensive about talking about it openly to eveyrone!

It give you the same feelings as going to an OB/GYN for a pelvic.

Put your left foot here, put you right foot there, lets lift the sheet and have a look! This might feel a little cold to you as I stick this into you!

You should look at it rather as an "instruction" book. Everything in the world you buy that is complicated comes with instructions. Why do you think God would create something as complicated as a human & leave us without instructions on how to get through this complicated life? If we are to navigate successfully we must do so with His instructions. After all, he created us & everything that is. Who would be better to write an instruction book telling us all about ourselves & how to live in this world? Don't be afraid of it. Pray & ask God to guide you through it & ask Him to show you it's meaning. I promise it's a GOOD thing, not a scary thing.

If you have doubts on the existence of God and your future path...please let me suggest that you find an Alpha Course held by a Church near you. It is non-denominational and opens the eyes of those who cannot see....refreshes the minds of those who are stale.....and gives the chance to become a Spirit-filled Christian with a promise to the future.
May the Lord Bless you with wisdom and strength.
Best wishes, Mike.

I would suggest not taking anyone's word when it comes to what the Bible says. When I first read it, I discovered that all the cliche's and hearsay I had once believed regarding the Bible was simply due to the lack of reading the Bible itself.

Don't take my word for it. Read it...and pray to God for understanding while you read. He'll make things very clear to those who are truly seeking Him.

God in the Christian sense is just a nonsense, a fairytale to scare the kids with. There is no heaven/hell.

Meditation is a far better way.

Your Holy Book as in the Word of God? The Bible? If so, then read it, it just states the truth. Nothing more, nothing less. Try reading the Bible and going to church, that'll help, don't get advice from non-christians on the internet, try to get advice from your pastor or from christian friends.

If you mean the Bible, then you must read it.
Read some versions of it, because I believe you will find it difficult if you don't understand hebrew or greek.

Versions of the Bible make you understand what original texts mean.
And please.... take some times to read Bible. How else you know what God wants.

God gave us the bible to get to know and understand Him and His promises to us. With a lot of examples in it of successes and failures. While reading it you will begin to establish a LIVING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD YOUR CREATOR
