I just tested positive for Mono...?

and I've been reading a bunch of medical stuff about it, and I found that 95% of Americans get Mono at some point and then you always have it and cant get infectious mono again. if this is so, why don't they just give everyone mono when theyre little and then they don't have to deal with it when theyre older?
I guess they dont think its important enough since people rarely die, but it can make things very tough on people lifewise because of fatigue and conmtagiousness.

the 95% is from a medical website that says that 50% of people get it when they are very young, but it is a lot less devastating.

if children weer to be infected with any type of mono they could very well die from it, especially if it was mono hepatitis.
i had mono when i was younger. it is also known as the "kissing disease". NO you dont carry it for the rest of your life but even when your well afterwards you do carry it for a few months and are still very contagious.
doctors do think that it is important hence why they DONT give it to people. mono can be a very serious illness
and people dont rarely die. people die everyday, although not from this disease.
you will get better, so stop hating and if you feel so strongly about this, become a doctor and find a cure so that no one will ever get it again!

I don't know where the hell that 95% came from; it can't possibly be true. Mono makes you very, very tired and weak, and I've only known two people who had it....at least as far as I know.

gioes away in a few weeks. had it as a teen ager. just had to slow down for a month or so and right back into the action.
