How do you tell if you would look good with a nose piercing or not>?

My parents won't let me get a piercing other than on my ears so I was planning on getting a nose piercing and a belly peircing after a couple years, when they settle a bit about it. I'm woried that if i get a nose piercing I won't pull the look off. I'm afraid that i'll look dumb or won't fit with my face and the way i look. Some people look bad with them, how do you know if you can pull it off>?
Also i don't want to get the piercing and not like it anyway and have a whole in my nose because of it. If I get a nose piercing will I be able to take it out or will I always have to wear it. I mean I don't want to walk around w/o it in and have a whole in the side of my nose.

I don't think nose piercings change your appearance enough to make you look bad. The piercing doesn't look bad, the studs that are far too big do.

Yes, there will be a tiny hole in your nose as long as the piercing hasn't healed. Mine has healed, and there isn't a hole anymore, though. So if you decide you don't want the hole there, you'll have to let it heal permanently.

Get a really tiny rhinestone and stick it on your nose. If you like what you see then get it pierced. That's what i did . Also if you don't like the piercing you can always get rid of it. New holes close up more quickly once u take the nosestud out.

If your nose is not too big and straight it will look good on you. If you pierce your nose and don't like it don't worry. If you take it off during the first month this hole will disappear.

Well even if you got it and didn't like it the hole would close up quickly, I pierced my nose myself years ago, but took it out later. And you can't tell that i ever had it. You can always go to Claire's and get those magnetic earrings and put it on there and see if you like it though.

put a little sticker that looks like a nose ring and stick on your nose to see how you look with a nose pierce i recommend putting a pierce on your left side

i disagree.
i got a nose piercing a couple years ago, but it was too annoying to take care of so i let it close.
the hole is not permanent.
its not really the fact if you can pull a nose piercing off or not, its what type of piercing you plan on getting

I think everyone looks good with a nose piercing as long as you know how to wear it.........I have one and I love it........I wanted mine on my left side but that really did not work for me so I got it done again on my right side...........you just have to find out what you really want and where you want it..........

i think you could pull either off, i think that a stud is more appealing to some people and that when you go out in public you will get less racy stares then if you wear a ring. but i dont think the ring looks bad. hope that helps!

Ok, I've done this before and It's fun. You take a little sticky rhinestone that is made for nail art or cell phone decoration and stick it on your nose. You can buy these at beauty supply or craft stores.These stick on, your don't have to put anything inside your nose to do it, and they look real since most girls now wear the little rhinestone studs in their noses.
