I am just curious as to know what they do in those Masonic Temples and where the religion stems from or if it really is a religion at all.

If you want to know what Freemasonry is all about you may want to check out Robert Lomas's "Hiram Key" series, which gives a description of what goes on in Masonic temples. While it is not, strictly speaking, a "religion" as such, Freemasonry certainly teaches the moral foundation on which religion should be based, using symbology and ritual to convey its tenets, which are based on the building of the temple of Solomon, and the untimely death of its architect, "Hiram Abif". The actual Masonic rites are a sort of Mystery play, which re-enact the legend of Hiram Abif and the construction of the Temple.

Practicing the four Masonic beliefs outside the lodge instills harmony into ... of the Masonic teachings of brotherly love, friendship, relief, and truth....

It is really not a religion but we do pray to God for guidance and direction before a meeting starts and also when it ends. We are simply a brotherhood or fraternity that helps the community when and where we can.
Hope this helped...........

It would take 20 pages of Yahoo to get nowhere near the answer. Research is the best route.

All I know is that there was this cemetery that was Masonic and they refused to have Catholics buried next to them.

So anyone that is against God, surely is not for God.

Many Masons are wealthy and control the world.
