That just stupid. The cars passed every inspection except the last one, and thats after they been driving the cars hard for 3 hours or so and possible bumped into others. You can't tell me Kyle went the entire race and didn't bump a single thing, wall or another car. I think it's stupid to fine a team for something after the race is over. They should be able to tell if it was done on purpose or accidental on the track.

I can see Richard C is one of the people NASCAR has sucked into there small minded bunch of brainwashed almost race fans.
Kairi if a car doesn't pass an inspection at the end of the race then this is when the fine should be set against a driver or crew. Where ASSCAR is in my opinion is wrong is when they penalize a team before they even take the track for the first time and top it off for a car that is new to everyone.
Brian France Sr. did not operate this way and neither should Jr. There power has gone to there heads and it will come to hurt them.
But this fine I would think is a good call like it or not.

WOW only 25 points NASCAR is dropping the ball here with this one. I mean I thought they were trying to prove a point with the COTs. I say if they penalized the others 100 pts and 100,000. Those two teams should of gotten the same

Yeah I really like him too, meaning Bootie, lol. I think that its good that no suspensions were received but I mean how can you lower your car during the race? The announcers said it is almost impossible and neither one of them had a prolonged stop, so I think that one of their springs didnt fully rise back up to the normal starting position and thats why they failed post race inspection. They have had incidents like this before but I don't think anything this severe, but it was a COT penalty so I dont know.

It could have been a lot worse. I'm glad it wasn't. I like Bootie, Kyle and Sauter.

EXACTLY......if NASCAR was so rough on Jeff & Jimmie, why not Kyle and Johnny??? Not really fair at all and they get to keep their crew chiefs. Of course I love Bootie, he's such a sweetie, but things should be fair!

This "violation" of the rules could have come from several things. Some could be intentional but most unintentional.
So the penilties seem easier than the otheres that have been given out.

And unlike other sports, there aren't endless appeals and court cases to get everything overturned. It is basically..."If you don't like it, go to the IRL and make no money while running in a minor-league circuit."
