Does anyone think American's can come together to help the healthcare crisis in this country. I just don't think it's ok for people to have to suffer and die just because they can't get approved. My mom is a nurse and she works at a jail where prisoners have better healthcare than hard workers. If they need their diabetic shots my mother gives it to them, if they need their inhalers, they get them. Does anyone find something wrong with this? Criminals of the law would get better treatment and health care than upstanding citizens, should it not be this way for everyone? Or better yet, what ideas or what can be done to improve this situation, and don't say nothing because something can always be done it just takes someone who's willing to go the extra mile and fight for it over and over. It takes a relentless person. Any thoughts?

Ok, but the thing is, the people who steal and commit crimes, like the crack head, would just go to jail and get great healthcare. And yes, you are paying for them!

I think that prisoners should get the MINIMUM in healthcare...and those on death row, nothing. Bread and water and one hour outside, that's it. Let them read books, no tv. We spend too much on those that have appeal after appeal and those on death row often live much longer than there victims did.
It will take a relentless person to change the "system". However, those that stick out in politics don't get elected. Those that say what they think will get them elected win....and then they don't do ****. Yes, those people that don't play by the rules make history, but most of the time they don't get elected to begin with. Seems that most of the time the american public wants the "status quo". And voting for someone that represents that isn't going to get this country out of the grave it's now in.

Health care and government do not mix.One of the problems that has happened with insurance is people ,do not pay for medical attention so the health care systems rapes the insurance companies. Causing hirer prices on insurance as well as health care. Social security in shambles government program.I like the fact that if I want to see a doctor I pay for it and don't have to wait. DMV lines at the hospital. That is government ran health care.

What is also ridiculous is that they get free education. It's unbelievable that they commit crimes, go to jail and go to college on my dime. And this is how the dems want to take care of things? Lets let the murderers and rapists and molesters get free education so they can find easier ways to hurt us more. No wonder there are soo many criminals. Good going Dems!!

Of course it's possible. Look at Britain, Canada, or France. They all have Nationalized Health care. Yes, this involves a significant rise in taxes, that many people are happy to pay. This system allows for the wealthy to pay for the needy, not the backwards system that's currently in place. But Americans are too greedy to ever pay any of their hard earned money on someone they don't even know, right?

I was told 3 weeks ago at the Dentist that; If you don't have money or insurance, we aren't going to do anything for you.
But if I go to jail I would get treatment.

I don't see why you needed to use the term "greedy" Americans. Everyone in the US has access to the best health care system in the world. What is at issue is how people pay for it.
About 275 million people in the US are covered by insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Some people choose not to buy insurance because they feel they don't need it.
No one is refused treatment if they agree to pay for it.
There is no crisis in the US. You have been unduly influenced by the left wing liberal loonies in the US.

Health Care is not a right. Like any other service, there is a cost associated with it. If you want health care, obtain a service provider or pay out of pocket costs.

I think it's okay they suffer.
Why do I care? If I was that bad off, I'd kill myself.
