I had to add this after I saw the answer after mine.
There's nothing wrong with their answers but...

Matthew 23:37

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!

Yes, Jesus wept. The Bible tells us he cried with loud cries and tears in prayer (Hebrews 5:7). He wept over his beloved city, Jerusalem (Matthew 23:37).

He wept because His beloved city was rejecting Him, as they rejected all the other prophets before Him,.

The best tool for Bible Studies, next to the Bible itself is a concordance. With a concordance you can look up the word and it will give you all the passages where it is used. It is good because if you want to look up a word like "wept" or "elect" or "grace" for example, you will have a list of all the places the word can be found and compare how the word is used in each place.

BTW: for trivia, that is the shortest verse in the Bible, the longest is Esther 8:9, the shortest chapter is also the middle chapter of the Bible, Psalm 117.

John 11: 35
He cried because his friend lazarus died. And later Jesus raised him from the dead. But Jesus felt compassion for Lazarus sisters who where upset that is why he wept.

John 11:35.

He wept because His friend Lazarus was dead. Which is weird, because He was able to raise Lazarus from the dead. I think it shows His humanity though.

It is John 11:35.

And Jesus was weeping because Lazurus' family was sad. He was also weeping because of their unbelief that Jesus would be able to raise him.
