What do you think your soul may look like? In movies, your soul always looks like a silohuette of yourself, which seems mildly silly. I'm not sure I think a soul resembles anything that we've ever seen. What do you think?

Oh, by the way. I don't want answers about how I am ignorant or need to educate myself. It's simply a musing and musings don't need to be insulted by the self-inflated, self-proclaimed intellectuals. Get over yourself.

The soul is flesh (dust and bones) animated or made alive by your spirit. Genesis 2:7 (NAS) says, "Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground (flesh), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life(spirit); and man became a living being(soul)."

Another way to think of it is like this: your soul is your person or personality. As such, your soul doesn't really have a tangible image that you can see exactly. When you look at a person you can see their personality come alive in their actions, words, facial expressions, eyes, and smell. That is your soul.

As for your spirit, this is breath of God given to you so that you may have life. However, this breath is slowly fading from us and that is why we die. Spirit is unseen, so it won't really look like anything. If we were to actually see it (in very rare cases), the effect would be more like seeing the wind move. It would appear like white smoke moving through the air. It would also look like pure white light. And if you were to touch it, your movements would have no effect on it. As humans, we do not have the authority to control or manipulate the spirit.

A true saint, holy priest, and God can know your soul. They can see it and if you are a good person, your soul will shine and be beautiful. I cannot give you an accurate picture or words as this is known to certain people that are blessed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Bright eyes are the souls that faithfully serve God.
If the eye is dark, they do not serve God or don't believe.

The lamp of the soul is the EYES.

More properly, the spirit is the hidden inner man of the heart. I believe it resembles your physical appearance, but is not subject to old age. The soul speaks more of who you are subjectively; your individuality as a person. The spirit is the nature of being your are, eternal, similar in nature to God and the angels.

You (an Invisible spirit look just like your Body).

Your Soul, (an Invisible spiritual Super-Computer that contains your 2nd Mind, your Will and your Emotions) hovers around your Brain--it links YOU to your Body through your Brain.
I can only Guess that it is Round and probably alot bigger than your brain.

Ditto..........King David used to Talk to his Soul by Speaking out loud and commanding his Soul to do what he wanted it to do.

Much like a hologram with its own frequency of vibration. Within the core of the soul/being is the God-presence.

There is no soul. The brain is fully responsible for consciousness.
Educate yourself.
