It all depends on what the agreement between you two is. If for example you say if I'm tire then go ahead and take care of yourself then there is no disrespect. If on the other hand he does it to annoy you knowing that you don't like it then it is disrespecfull. The question is does he knows it bothers you? If he does and he is just doing ti to piss you off then yes it is disrespecfull. If he doesn't or you never raised your voice then how can you blame him. If it bother you so much then tell him and then suggest he goes to another room.

On a completely different note. Always take into account that although men and women are the same in many aspect we are also different in others. Just like two people even if they are twins are a bit different. So, be careful when you say something like how would you like it if I masturbate in front of you. I don't think you'll get the result you want heheheh.

On an even further far fetch idea why not race him. next time he wips it out and starts doing his thing then drop your pants and say "oh! yeah! I'll race you!!!" Alright I'll admit this kind of thing doesn't happen but it would be funny though. And in the end isn't fun part of a relationship.

I read some of the responses from other fellow contributors that say "if he has you there why should he masturbate" Ok, let me tell you this line of thinking is very faulty. Men and women masturbate end of story. Why would a person masturbate when their mates is available? Well, because they want to. Is like if someone made a very juicy stake. Stake is more expensive than a cheap cheeseburger. It is better meat too yet, some days you just crave that cheap cheeseburger. Saying that you are forced to have sex with your mate when ever available is an unrealistic self centered view of the world and of human nature. Believe me, there will be days when your mate does not wants to be around you. It doesn't means your mate doesn't love ya, just that he/she wants to be alone or away from you for a bit. You will have these feelings too. What is important is that when you look at the whole picture your mates does love you and wants to share his or her life with you. Not that they are there looking over your shoulder breathing down your neck every second of conciousness.

To tell you the truth its not disrespectful at all. It may seem a bit odd and totally questionable to why he's doing this but most likely hes masturbating for the pure fact that hes turned on and your sleeping or because hes so turned on its hard for him to get to sleep. Don't take it personally to tell you the truth it may be a total turn off or a bit strange but in the end once you consider the reasons behind it its not disrespectful at all. Hopefully I helped and you understood. Good luck and dont get grossed out! =)

That child surely needs help. And needs to stop doing that in front of other kids that may be not prepared to understand or handle what is going on. If I were that bus driver I would talk to the kid's teacher and ask for someone to supervise next time. He is right. He couldn't stop driving, but he can also talk to the kid and let him know that what he was doing is unacceptable, that that is a private thing that he can do in his bathroom or bedroom, and that you he (the driver) won't tolerate that behavior again. If that happens again, he should stop when it is possible, change the sitting place for the boy and tell the parents of that child that because of that disturbing behavior he won't be picking that child up the next time.

Been there and seen that. It can be fun and sexy, but only if you help out or join in. Otherwise, if he does it often, it can make him look like a freak. My ex husband used to do this because he wanted sex alllll the time. I couldn't keep up I guess. Anyway, I would think it would only be disrespectful towards you if you weren't giving him any, or if he makes comments like he wants more sexually from you. Otherwise, he's just being open with it.

He may be keeping to a nightly routine. He may be especially horny lying there with you. He may not think it matters. He may assume you do the same thing. He may not equate love with absolute exclusivity in regard orgasms. He may think it's disrespectful and waited 'til he thought you were asleep. Should you tell him what?? That it bothers you? He may not do it around you again, but be assured that he will continue doing it, so what's the difference???

You could:
1 Ignore it
2 Participate in it
3 watch him
I do not think this is a sign of disrespect. It just turns him on that you are there and you know what he is doing.

No, it's not disrespectful. It could be one of two things, either you're not taking care of your business or he wants you to join in. When my Husband does it, he wants me to join in and I do. To make it even better, I go further with a little moist sensation.

It means you turn him on, which is a compliment, and that he doesn't think you will help him with his sexual needs, which is unfortunate. You shoulodn't say anything. Turn to him, take him in your hand or mouth, and give him what he needs. Then tell him you love him and go to sleep.

(a) Is he reading a book/mag at the same time? That's plain bad manners.
(b) Is he trying to give you a BIG clue?
(c) As it's concerning you, just ask him why he needs to do it - if he says it's because your not interested in sex then (b).
Then, get interested in sex, if you can't then he's the wrong man.
