If we did exist, in any form, spirit, intelligence, or otherwise, what do you understand that existence to have been like?

Actually it all began with God's creation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and the beginning of time. Our prior existence lives within the mind of God and His plans for us to fulfill his wishes for us in the world He gave to us. I look at it this way. I was a twinkle in the eye of my own creator, God Almighty.

--THAT INDEED SEEMS TO BE the case that the Bble supports!
--OF INTEREST is that the Bible makes a distinction between different types of bodies or flesh, including spirit creatures(angels)
--(1 Corinthians 15:38-47) “. . .but God gives it a body just as it has pleased him, and to each of the seeds its own body.
--39 Not all flesh is the same flesh, but there is one of mankind, and there is another flesh of cattle, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish.
-- 40 And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly bodies is one sort, and that of the earthly bodies is a different sort.
--41 The glory of the sun is one sort, and the glory of the moon is another, and the glory of the stars is another; in fact, star differs from star in glory. 42 It is sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one....
.....45 is even so written: “The first man Adam became a living soul.”(living being, breather, person-my comment) The last Adam(Christ) became a life-giving spirit.
--46 Nevertheless, the first is, not that which is spiritual, but that which is physical, afterward that which is spiritual.
--47 The first man(perfect man, Adam-my comment) is out of the earth and made of dust; the second man(perfect man, Christ) is out of heaven.”
**IF YOU noticed , first the difference in human life and animal life, bird life etc. , then celestial life in comparison to the earth and
finishes up in comparison with physical (humans)bodies and heavenly bodies(angels)!
--Then specifically Adam & Christ are contrasted as being different bodies, Adam the physical & Jesus the spiritual!
--SO THEN with such a parallelism and contrast made it should indeed be clear that when we were born it was a totally earthly experience!

I believe we all exist as spirits--energy forms--long before we're born to the physical earth. I was told by a psychic friend of mine that the spirit world is exactly the way it is here--it just has a different form, it's energy, not solid--and from what little I've glimpsed through the portal that leads to the other side, that appears to be true. But I also believe that the other side is whatever you want it to be.

Prior to the sperm entering into the egg, no. This is the beginning of our existence. A living ,immortal soul is created at inception. This is the miracle of God. Prior to that only God knew who you would be, when you would be conceived, and if you would serve him according to his purpose. The only exception of this was Jesus. The son of the living God. Since Jesus Christ is also God he always was.
