I have willed myself to do it, researched the facts.

Mainly, I find out why I fear something, and try to disprove or be-little so it looks like idiocy to fear it.

Courage and self-esteem can only be gained through experience and trying your best at things.

When I was in college and going through a really rough time personally too, I remember in one of my psychology classes the professor telling us this;

"Go in the opposite direction fear wants you to go". I felt like that was aimed right at me, since I had many fears then. Right after hearing that, I set about facing all of my fears head-on. And you know what? They weren't so frightening after all!

Be realistic about what you fear, is it real or perceived? There is a difference. Real is when a train is coming down the tracks and you are standing right there. Perceived is when we think a situation will turn out a certain way without real evidence that is true.

The best way is to be connected with God Almighty. God loves you, and you are precious to Him. Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven. Just come to Jesus with genuine repentance and faith, and you will find peace, assurance, hope and meaning for your life. Heaven is wonderful beyond descriptions, and forever without end. Never miss Heaven for anything of this troubled world. Best wishes!
